While transporting stolen sports cars across the California desert, Santee and his buddy Eddie get pulled over by a traffic cop. After an argument, the policeman and Eddie wind up dead -- and Santee winds up falsely accused of killing the cop. Despite his claim of innocence, Santee gets convicted of the murder. Making matters worse, while he's being taken away to prison, Santee realizes that the two men guarding him plan to kill him. But he manages to escape their clutches. With the police hot on his trail, Santee takes a beautiful woman hostage -- who just happens to be a cop.
