The Day the World Ended was filmmaker Roger Corman's modest entree into the realm of science fiction. The film begins at "The End"--or rather, the years following an all-out atomic war. Flesh eating zombies done Roger Corman style. Nominated for the most ridiculous looking monster to ever grace the silver screen. A low-budget sci-fi classic for those of us who enjoy cheesy camp.
