Mike (Chris Farley), a slovenly gym teacher, has a terrible habit of showing up at the wrong time and embarrassing his brother, Al (Tim Matheson), who happens to be running for governor. Hoping to save his campaign, Al assigns his aide, Steve (David Spade), to take Mike to a remote cabin and hide out there for the remainder of the campaign. In the woods, the two men discover dangers that make them long for the sleazy political operatives back in the big city.

It received scathing reviews upon release, and it's certainly no masterpiece, but this broad slapstick comedy has a few good laughs and a sweetness that, in retrospect, makes it somewhat endearing.

Black Sheep (1996) is an okay comedy that mostly works because of Chris Farley and his energetic performance. He brings a lot of chaos and physical humor to the movie, and there are a few genuinely funny moments that still hold up. The chemistry between Farley and David Spade also helps keep the movie entertaining. At the same time, the film feels very similar to other buddy comedies from the 90s and does not do much that feels unique. Some jokes drag on too long, and the story itself is pretty thin. It relies heavily on Farley’s comedy style, which may not work for everyone. Overall, Black Sheep is not a terrible movie, but it is far from one of the best comedy films of its era. It has enough laughs to make it watchable, even if it feels uneven and forgettable at times. I would give it a 5/10.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Synopsis
