Lai is Jing, a legendary Chinese Tong assassin skilled in weaponry and martial arts. Completely loyal to the Tong, to whom Jing owes her life, she immediately accepts when the Tong ask her to travel to America as an internet bride in order to make a hit on an American crime syndicate.
