How can Ghost and the Darkness from '93 have better effects! Megan Fox is no mercenary! Lion looks super horrible CGI.

I may be a bit biased because while watching I was reminded of my Neighbors teen crush on Radha Mitchell - but this was a very serviceable animal-horror thriller. It was never going to be a box office hit but I can see it becoming an Aussie cult classic in time, recommended if you enjoyed Deep Blue Sea, Jaws, Anaconda, and their ilk.
