The heat is on for advertising executive Ed Waxman (Brendan Fehr). His boss has given the young man an ultimatum: Devise a brilliant ad campaign within 48 hours or lose his job. Poor Ed is also out of luck in the love department. Cooper (Chris Klein), his playboy brother, arrives on the scene to help him find a bedmate at the same time that Ed must devote all his energy to work.

Brendan Fehr and Chris Klein are both terrible. They have no comic timing, either with each other or the ill-conceived material.

If you're not a male between 17 and 23 and don't find the chance to see R-rated rejects from America's Funniest Home Videos a good thing, The Long Weekend will be a long and pointless haul.

This was quite a good movie and was funny. Was really more of a rom-com but with sick humour. I quite liked it. It starred Chris Klein from American Pie. The acting was good and so was the storyline. I would say that if you liked the sick humour in the American Pie films you will like this. Overall a good comedy worth watching.
