A tabloid television news magazine host and her ramshackle crew have a gruesome close encounter when they set out to investigate an alien abduction in director Jake West's no-holds-barred splatstick comedy. This horror hoot is overloaded with invention and sly referential riffs. It frequently plays like Trainspotting with more eyeball eating.
With the right amount of sex, gore, action, and comedy, you'll find it hard to resist...
Before he started turning out $200 million fantasy epics, Peter Jackson used to do this sort of thing while napping, and he was much better at it.
West seems to mistake smugness for genre savvy, and his aggressive, arm-punching brand of pandering quickly grows tiresome, and then unbearable.
While nowhere near as witty as Shaun of the Dead (2004), it has a rude energy and a go-for-broke willingness to try anything.
Evil Aliens pulls no punches.

To be fair, Evil Aliens is going for a very specific audience, and viewers who ordinarily enjoy this sort of thing will probably not be disappointed.
It's splattery and loud and frantic and laden with wall-to-wall gore of the nastiest kind. And yes, I mean that in the nicest way possible.

This is a frequently funny, vulgar, low-budget gory good time and it contains many horror film references, my favorite being the Cannibal Holocaust gag and trust me you'll know it when you see it.
