Minor film which wastes its time on three uninteresting main characters when the supporting cast is filled with far more worthy people.

Cute little family film. Pretty sweet and a little quirky.

A sweet story about three orphan sisters in the 1930s with great talent who have to fight to survive and work hard to put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads. They learn not to be selfish and put others before themselves. Good movie.

again not what i was excepting.. i enjoyed this..

It was a nice film. It all works out in the end. very conveniently.

This is a Okay movie , it does kinda get you into it but as far a family movie I would have to give it a 4 out of 5

Okay, when I started watching this movie, I thought it was going to be lame. But, suprisingly, it was great! Good acting on Emma Watson's part, and good story.

Harry Potter's father in law and girl friend in the same movie lol. What a coincidence I was watchin harry potter series these days. A feel good drama about how three adopted sisters try to realize their dreams...

I would say this is and amazing movie because it inspires you to live your dreams and follow your heart no matter the situation and like most hopeful young adult type movies you have to be true to yourself to acheive or to find true happiness I loved Emma Watson in Harry potter which is why i found this on Netflix and watched it when I saw she was in it another favorite of mine

I expected a ballet movie, which it wasn't. However, it was a fairly nice period piece and charming. I'm actually looking forward to watching the original sometime soon.

A cute story about a family struggling to make it. The three girls take it upon themselves to take care of the money problems they are having. The movie is very low budget, but the story is nice and happy. I had to watch it until the end to see how everything worked out for them.

I thought this was a really good movie abouta group of prphans living toogether trying to find something they love to do. I thought the acting was really good and it made you care about the characters. but it was a little slow in some places, but all in all it was a good movie.

My short comment for "Ballet Shoes": It's nice for me to see Emma Watson in this film role besides the "Harry Potter" series. Very dramatic...

it was a cute movie, but i think i lost sight of what the ballet shoes had to do with anything except a small part in the story. so i was kind of lost, but hey that's just me.

Wow, it was really good. I loved Emma Watson and Emilia Fox. Lucy Boynton was so fantastic! Glad I watched it.

I really enjoyed this film. Bravo to Emma Watson for succeeding in exhibiting skills and talent in a genre far different from "Harry Potter". The story was interesting and the cast all had excellent chemistry together. The only bad thing was the ending, or rather the lack of an ending. I am not sure who edited the final scenes, but they did a horrible job. It was almost as if the film ended mid-sentence. However, if you are a fan of British television and films (and I am), this film was touching, heartfelt and definitely worth watching.

Here we go! THIS ONE RIGHT HERE is the newer versions page. Starring Emma Watson. NOT the other one. This one was remarkable. I like the ending, and my favourtie part was when Pauline (Emma) had her screen test, not the filming, the black and white screen test.

The performances of most of the cast were very good and there were many nice moments in the movie. However, I thought that the supporting cast had more interesting characters and should have gotten more screen time. Also, the ending felt a bit rushed.

All in all, an "okay" movie.
