Ace of Hearts Reviews

Ace of Hearts is an altogether forgettable flick that provides nothing you haven't seen before. The main attraction that the film tries to set up for itself is how everything that happens in it is so unbelievable, but the lackluster acting and cliches make it feel bogged down from the beginning, so everything else just feels surreal. On top of that, the plot is just plain bizarre, especially when it comes to the titular Ace's downright creepy human intelligence. The whole thing just has a "direct to DVD" feel to it.

I didn't really care for this movie at all. But I will say that it's probably a good family movie for families with children 12 and under (though the parents may have to bite their tongues from saying, "that's so stupid" or "that doesn't make sense" outloud over and over like I did, lol). There were a few good emontional scenes but for me, Dean Cain was about the only highlight of the movie, lol.
