See more isla s @RT89656869 09/04/2022 I thought this was quite amusing - I liked the cast, with Michael Caine and Dylan Moran being two rather grumpy older men and I particularly liked the young girl, Mary, who features in most scenes, makes some witty comments/remarks and so on. Other cast members include Michael Gambon, Miranda Richardson and Ben Miller. Some of the situations are a bit surreal/daft and some scenes are flatter than others but its certainly not unentertaining overall, even though its not a consistently action packed or entirely hilarious film. Its definitely a quirky film - one I'm surprised I hadn't come across beforehand. Yes, this is a film I'd cautiously recommend, if the cast appeals to you. Dylan Moran very much plays his part as if he were Bernard Black from the british sitcom Black Books. Its quite a farcical type of a film I suppose. See more 07/23/2021 (Int. Urainia: So why have you falsified the value of false prophets for the masses, making them richer than our hard laborers whom you have devalued and need most? Apasmara: You know actors are emotionally tortured for it. Urainia: It doesn't answer my question: Why have you falsified the value of false prophets? Apasmara: Because I am a greedy little baby. Urainia: (pats Apasmara on the head) Yes, you are. And you will cry like a little baby as your illusion is dismantled. Apasmara: Yes. Urainia: Unless you fix what you have created. Apasmara: Me? This is your- Urainia: Time is the essence of ego. I suggest you use your Time to reestablish the order of real value on this planet before I do it for you. Apasmara: You couldn't possibly- Urainia: You and I know my mind is all I need to make the proper adjustments. Apasmara: Goddess! Urainia: I expect no one will feel undervalued or underappreciated after you have adjusted the Timeline. I also expect it will take a few years, but that my people will only gain benefits and will not become disillusioned in this new world. Apasmara: That's a lot of expecting. Urainia: I am pregnant with expectations, and if they are not met, you will have a hell of a baby of your hands. Apasmara: No more Hell babies! Urainia: Then you better get to work. See more 03/02/2014 A straightforward film with a few goods laughs in it. I don't see why so many reviews come down hard on it - it's predictable and lightweight, but easygoing too, and never jarring. Perhaps you just have to be a fan of Moran. I enjoyed it anyway.
