Shot at a sold-out Madison Square Garden on October 9, 2004, the film features the cinematography of 50 lucky audience members, who were selected by the Beastie Boys to videotape the show from their very personal vantage points. The result is a hyper-frenetic and incredibly visceral experience, which thrusts viewers inside the arena and allows them to truly feel what it was like to be at the show. Backing up Mike D, Ad Rock, and MCA is the virtuosic DJ Mix Master Mike, who tears through the group's biggest rap joints without skipping a beat. When they disappear for a moment and reappear as a full-fledged rock band, it's keyboardist Money Mark who adds fuel to the fire. Being fans of old school hip-hop, the Boys also pay tribute to the past, bringing out the original human beat box, Doug E. Fresh, to deliver a jaw-dropping display of mouth-made percussion.
