Barbara Bach (THE SPY WHO LOVED ME) and Claudio Cassinelli (WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOUR DAUGHTERS?) star as patrons of a tourist resort in Africa. The natives worship a shapeshifting god named Kroona, which they believe manifests itself in an enormous, man-eating crocodile. When a few of the locals perish in the crocodile's jaws, the natives conclude that Kroona has been angered by the encroachment of the resort onto his sacred grounds, and they set about massacring the Westerners. As the survivors try to escape on a boat, they must fend off the bloodthirsty croc while the murderous natives await them on land. Written by Ernesto Gastaldi, who wielded the pen behind Martino productions like TORSO, ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK, and the canonized giallo THE STRANGE VICE OF MRS. WARDH, this eco-horror film also stars Mel Ferrer (BLOOD AND ROSES, CITY OF THE WALKING DEAD) and Richard Johnson (ZOMBIE). [More]
