Recently divorced mom Lauren (Drew Barrymore) and widowed dad Jim (Adam Sandler) let their friends push them into a blind date, which goes disastrously wrong. Unsurprisingly, neither wants to see the other ever again. However, fate intervenes when both Jim and Lauren, unbeknown to each other, purchase one-half of the same vacation package at a South African resort; they and their children are forced to share the same suite and participate in a slew of family activities together.

It has become something of a tradition to dismiss the latest Adam Sandler movie outright or, if one is feeling particularly generous, damn it with faint praise. Blended is no exception to this strategy.

Much of the humor is Sandler boilerplate stuff but a musical montage when Sandler realizes his daughter isn't just a tomboy anymore is funny and worth a look.

Blended was so funny and the chemistry between Adam and Drew is amazing. They are funny and believable. Movies are to entertain. People like to make them so serious. Watch, enjoy, get away from the world for a bit. Enjoy this movie!

You know everyone can be an Adam Sandler haterater all they want but I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I missed it inthe theaters in 2014 because I was in the middle of a divorce. This movie is full of fun, the humor is spot on. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are always so great together. And the start studded cast and excellent acting just tops it all off. I needed this laugh and this love. The writer was clearly a comedian. Aces. Great family movie. Highly recommend. Adam Sandler was annoying as heck when he was younger but as he matured, his movies are all just great. Hot Chick, Anger Management, The Wedding Singer, 50 first Dates, Grown Ups both movies. Just awesome. Just a great movie. I'll add this one to my favorites for romance and humor.
