Set against the backdrop of the euphoric period following the 1989 fall of communism, this hip drama tells the story of a disparate group of young people who meet in a Budapest bar. Two Russian musicians (Yuri Fomichyov and Igor Csernyevics) are making their way to Belgrade for a performance; an engineer (Aleksei Serebryakov) has been reduced to selling knives; and two Westerners (Helen Baxendale and Caroline Loncq) are looking for a little fun.

This movie is surprisingly good and refreshing.It was definitely a low-budget one, shot in a slightly amateurish manner, pretty bad quality, and still - a pleasure to watch. However, I'm not sure it could be really understood by people who never lived in Soviet Union or or surrounding communists countries. But for us,
