Sparks fly when Violet (Jennifer Tilly) sets eyes on Corky (Gina Gershon) in an elevator. Violet is the girlfriend of a violent gangster, Caesar (Joe Pantoliano), while Corky is fresh out of prison and doing renovations on the apartment next door. As the two women launch into a passionate love affair, they assemble an intricate plan for Violet to escape from Caesar, with two million dollars of the mob's money -- but the important part is to make it out alive.

Like so many other rob-the-mob movies, the plan seems pretty far-fetched, and the ending isn’t much of a surprise. But if you like your films sprinkled liberally with sex, violence and humor, then you’re bound to like "Bound."

Well this movie was good as advertised. The two leading ladies were especially good. Two women take on the mob and find a way to rob them of two million dollars. Brilliant writing and directing and the end credit song of she's a lady was great. Tillys voice is so intoxicating and sexy. The bad guys were really good and intimidating. Tim Treakle

For some reason, I never saw this movie up until today. It was very good. Great story, the two lady's were perfect in their roles. Good mafia flick from the perspective of the women, along with a pretty steamy scene between the two of them. Satisfying ending.

The Wachowski's did good with this one as well. It definitely has a neo-noir tag to it. Brilliantly written and brought to screen. Great cinematography and visually very appealing. High dose of risqué scenes and some just far beyond suggestion. The stellar cast delivers convincingly in character. Predictable and somewhat absurd premise, but hey, that's entertainment for you, right? Enough drama, suspense, action, emotion, twists and intrigue to keep you occupied though

Found out about this movie while watching a great documentary on The Matrix, saying this was the movie that the Wachowskis needed to convince film companies that they had what it took to make The Matrix worth investing in. And wow did they not disapoint! This is such a well crafted plot where you keep wondering hos more complicated the situation is gonna get and how it's gone end. I'm not into mob movies anymore, so it took amazing talent form those 2 writers / directors / poducers to get me hooked from begining to end
