The Titanic 1997 James Cameron film was amazing, but this movie was just trying to cash in some money off of the film. The CGI is awful and this movie came out 2 years ago the 1997 James Cameron Titanic, which was a million times better. I don't recommend watching this movie, as it's very inaccurate, and just horrible. Like, when Britannic gets torpedoed (although it struck a mine instead), it hits the ship on it's Bow Starboard side, but then one of the officers reports the torpedo being hit on the Bow Port side? And then the ship starts listing to the Starboard!? Either, this movie knows nothing about ships and what Starboard or Port is, or, they made a foul mistake, and I think it's obvious that they didn't do enough research. See more 06/10/2022 Ignoring how the cgi is bad and how inaccurate it is, this is actually a good movie in my opinion and it was an enjoyable viewing. Some issues I had was the sinking, they edited it horribly, like how it lists and then in the next shot is titanicing again, but also I dislike how it doesn't hit a mine, a bottle in the coal bunker explodes. I unlike others, did not care about them reusing the same background for any scene on deck and I like the spy story and the love story. I really like the fact that the main protagonists was on the titanic which is a reference to Jessope and how it gave her PTSD, as it probably did to people on board. I LOVE the scene where she has a Panic attack when getting on the lifeboat during a drill as Titanic survivors probably did have panic attacks during drills while sailing afterwards, but I think this could have been way better as a Lusitania movie See more John D @RT89273021 06/09/2021 Britannic is an underrated film about the history of Titanic's forgotten sister ship - the story was interesting and the sinking scenes were executed well. I thought it was good! See more 01/29/2019 I love it, I love it because the history behind Britannic, it is accurate in some things, and I love ships like Titanic Mauretania, Aquitania, Olympic, Lusitania, and Britannic, but my favorites are the Olympic Class liners, so if you love this as well you should see it 10/10 See more Read all reviews
