A drug operation changes the lives of three conflicted New York cops. What gives this an extra star is Ethan Hawke: there are plenty of guns blazing in this movie but the real fire comes from his powerhouse performance.

Each actor, including Wesley Snipes as a fresh-out-of-jail ex-con, gives one of their grittiest performances in this gripping cop drama reminiscent of 2006's The Departed and 1991's New Jack City.

A completely forgettable movie. It lacks any real emotion or lasting impact, and the soundtrack does nothing to improve the experience. I'm surprised that Richard Gere would choose to be part of a project like this. It's a dull, uninspiring film that I can't recommend.

Not on the same level as Training Day or some other Antoine Fuqua films, Brooklyn's Finest is still a solid and interesting crime thriller following multiple characters whose paths all lead to the same destination.

Amazing movie. Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Couldn’t tell what was gonna happen at the end of the movie, but you know it’s gonna be intense. And it was!
