Maria Bello's character is 100 percent annoying. And it seems like her acting chops have gone completely down hill.

Could have been a lot worse, but could have been a lot better...

Tedious, halfbaked and dispensable thriller that takes far too long to pick up. Even the crapfest 'While She Was Out' was better than this.

Mom and son get carjacked -- act one. Mom is helpless and pathetic - act two. Act three -- mom escapes and becomes a vigilante badass who hunts down carjacker, finds his bank robbery money and kills him. Somehow even though the police are on the scene right after all this happens, she's able to walk away with the cash (the average bank heist nets less than $10K) and seems to be set for life. There is no apparent police investigation and the whole thing is tied up with a neat bow as her deadbeat ex-husband (aren't they ALL?) is ordered to pay child support. I bet he has a hard time using the washer/dryer too.

Acting was pretty good, dialog was so-so, and the script was BORING! What a waste of time. Unbelievable plot points make it even harder to sit through. Don't waste your time on this tepid "thriller".

Well-acted, small-scale thriller.

Low terrible classical dramatic-action movie. The plot is tasteless and its a waste of money for producers and viewers!

Maria Bello and Stephen Dorff are great, and there are strong performances even in some of the bit parts. Looks amazing--better than many flicks with ten times the budget. Plenty of suspenseful moments.

Well worth watching. Maria Bello and Stephen Dorff give solid performances with more subtlety of character than you would expect from a low-budget thriller. The film looks great, better than most of the shot-on-video stuff that you see in theaters these days. Some genuinely intense moments and good acting from top to bottom make up for the few weak spots.

This is one of those "it's so bad, it's fun to watch" movies. One example of many: after the mother escapes from the carjacker, she gets in touch with the police almost as an afterthought, and then is met with skepticism when she gives her account of the carjacking because she somehow neglects to mention that the carjacker is a man who had just robbed a bank the previous day and who is currently the object of a statewide manhunt complete with roadblocks.

I just saw the trailer. I wonder what happens in this film? Does the woman get kidnapped? Does she fight back? Oh, so many mysteries...
