The only things that made it good has got to be David Newman's composition, that one Smash Mouth song in the credits, Hang On, but it's very to little faithful to the iconic book. First of all, the CGI in this film is just plain off quality and is very dated because of how early CGI/live action films were until today. This film is completely filled with chaotic adult humor, which is very suggestive and inappropriate to put on an adaptation for kids, because it's something they're gonna impression on. And also this is a huge waste of talent of Mike Myers because his final look of the Cat is just creepy and obnoxious. The makeup on his also unnerving to look at, and even the cast is a huge waste of talent. Therefore, The Cat in the Hat is obviously the weirdest Dr. Seuss adaptation that falls from the source material and is just suggestive. See more Read all reviews
