Fifth in a series of bad films based on very short story
I wonder if Stephen King chuckles when he finds these movies sitting in the bargain bin.
Fields of Terror is a decent sequel. The gore factor and body count are still factors in this fifth entry. However the execution is so-so and never anything too interesting. The film could have been much better. Director Ethan Wiley seems bored directing this, and the result is a film that is mildly entertaining, and

Average sequel with nothing really special to offer accept for a bunch of surprising cameos by Kane Hodder, Fred Williamson and David Carradine. Eva Mendes also features in an early role strutting her sexy stuff. It's pretty stupid in places the plot but it has some bloody moments, nothing like part 4 though.
