Mitch C @PrimetimeMitch Mar 16 I always enjoy a British movie, particularly from the 80s and 90s. This was no different with strong performances from Stephen Rhea and Jaye Davidson telling a story which is somewhat different to what you expect from the first 15 minutes. It's thankfully not too war heavy but the escape from it all is very much the driving force with both lead characters trying to pull away from something they are not. The twist midway is very well crafted and shocking for it's time - again amplified by the scenes previous. It's well acted, powerful and an interesting soundtrack - solid and worth a rewatch.
