Double Exposure (1982)
Double Exposure is a dull, predictable mystery thriller with a fine cast but hampered by a poor script and bad direction and production. A photographer (Michael Callan) begins to have a series of nightmares concerning bloody, gruesome murders. When those murders become reality, he is the prime suspect and must find the real killer. The cast including Joanna Pettet, James Stacy, Cleavon Little, Sally Kirkland and Seymour Cassel, makes the most of their underwritten and poorly developed characters, but producer/director/writer William Byron Hillman substitutes nudity and lurid, gory special effects for both plot and character. Viewers looking for an interesting thriller based on the same premise might enjoy The Eyes of Laura Mars, and not waste their time with this plodding rip-off. … More

This movie Is from the After dark Thrillers 8 Movie Collection. This is not a bad movie thought I will not give it a very high star rating. Its about 2 brothers, One a Stunt race car driver who has lost a arm and a leg. The other brother a photographer, The Photographer is filming beautiful models that are turning up dead, and he has dreams about how the models die, and bad head aches, he tells his doctor his trouble and soon becomes a suspect in the murder cases, 2 detectives who could figure out a crime if it happen in front of them are on the case. It is what it is a Late Nigh Thriller. 2 StarsMore
Prostitutes are turning up dead in L.A., and our womanizing jerk of a hero is having dreams about killing models. Are the two related? Predictable, flat, annoying thriller that's like a made-for-TV movie, but with lots of nudity and a little violence. Everything about it rings false and stupid, like the way our hero takes a nice girl to a mud wrestling match on a date.More
