For all the overproduction of the speed scenes, most of the vehicular stunts and set pieces are pretty impressive, if really, really stupid; I swear that the race through the mine shaft was lifted right out of a Speed Racer cartoon.

Fast & Furious delivers exactly what fans expect: high-speed action, over-the-top stunts, and plenty of adrenaline-fueled moments. The story isn't always the strongest part of the film, but the charismatic cast, exciting car chases, and emphasis on family make it a fun and enjoyable ride. It's the kind of movie you watch for entertainment rather than realism, and it succeeds in keeping viewers engaged from start to finish.

It’s easy to poke fun at the cheesy dialogue and impossible stunts, but few franchises deliver pure, unadulterated big-screen fun like this one. It's an iconic staple of modern action cinema that never takes itself too seriously. Leave your brain at the door and just enjoy the ride

Maybe prefer the first Fast and Furious movie over this, but still a fun time, mainly because Dom and Brian finally share the screen together again, and their dynamic was what really carried this one and the first one. Hopefully the franchise is heading in the right direction for the next few movies.
