Reviews for Final Analysis
Since when did Basinger learn to act?!? Wow, quite a performance indeed.
The movie attempts to top each of its revelations with still another until reason bends and interest flags.
The film's worst elements come from the filmmakers. To say they've seen too many Hitchcock films is to understate.
Things get weirder and weirder, until it's clear scriptwriter Wesley Strick's the one who needs analysis.
In its conclusions, this movie is so cynical, so evil, that it would inspire despair were it not so incompetent.
Far too much of the plot is like that of too many other films with very similar plot twists. Fans of classic thrillers, be warned.
Has so many twists, turns and backward leaps, the actors tackle their work like trained poodles in a circus act.
