Joey G. @joeyglitter Jun 6 “Firewall: Accesso Negato” è un Thriller del 2006 basato su tematiche di cybersicurezza informatiche che propone un incipit interessante, per quanto non spicchi per originalità. Nel cast, Harrison Ford prende il ruolo del protagonista che dovrà cercare in tutti i modi di salvare la famiglia tenuta in ostaggio da un gruppo di rapinatori, mentre Paul Bettany si cala ottimamente nei panni del villain principale: freddo e cinico ricattatore, dove sarà proprio il suo obiettivo, il denaro, il suo tallone d’Achille. Il film si presta ad un ritmo spesso serrato, capace di tener lo spettatore incollato per scoprire gli sviluppi della trama. Il personaggio di Ford, Jack Stanfiled, dimostra maggior carisma e strategia psicologica solo verso la parte finale del film. Nel film anche l’attore Robert Patrick, in un ruolo poco centrale. Nel complesso, film piacevole; tuttavia, l’assenza di un vero cliffhanger e un finale frettoloso e prevedibile, rendono il tutto poco memorabile. The thrills feel weak and the story just didn't engage me. I feel Harrison Ford was doing his best here, but this script just couldn't be saved. I found myself kind of bored and then when it ended, I really just felt relief that it was over. Overall, it is an uninspired thriller that had the potential to be fun, but it just was not entertaining for myself, and doesn't utilize the talent of someone like Harrison Ford.
