The prosperous town of Antonio Bay, Ore., is born in blood, as the town's founders get their money by murdering a colony of lepers. But the truth of what they did is concealed from subsequent generations. More than 100 years later, Elizabeth Williams (Maggie Grace), whose family lives in Antonio Bay, returns just as a statue in tribute to the founders is to be unveiled. When a mysterious fog rolls in, Elizabeth and her boyfriend (Tom Welling) soon discover it has vengeful supernatural powers.

I thought it was quite a good remake a lot different to the original special effects are quite good as well. The fog affects. was more realistic than the original fog affect which were just a smoke machine, I think. I am a massive fan of the original the soundtrack was really good overall I don’t think this was too bad

''Oh~A,,,,,My~A.....God.'' It's downright Scary, SCARY just how utterly Shyte this Fish-boneheaded Movie really is. It's almost as though the Writers/Director/Producers Lost a Bet: where the Losers are compelled to make this Film; doing Everything the Original movie did Right.....WRONG. 0.5/5

The dialogue is cringey, the characters unlikeable and the overall pacing is a sleep-inducing bore. Top that off with lazy jumpscares and a flying ghost knife and you've got yourself a recipe for one truly terrible film. May The Fog (2005) be enveloped by its own thick shroud of fog, so I never have to lay my eyes on it again.

This movie is an insult to Carpenter’s original! The one star that I gave it is because I love the cast of this movie, that’s all! The storyline is garbage from start to finish, especially the ending, which made no sense whatsoever!
