Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff, Eva Longoria Parker, and Chris Kattan lend their voices to this computer-animated tale of a grocery store that springs to life after the doors have been locked and the workers have all gone home. When the employees are away, the products will play -- and in this store the playground of choice for the most fun-loving brand names around is the Copa-Banana. It is the worst animated movie targeted to kids ever to be released. I can understand the insane concept that the creators were trying to achieve (make a Toy Story movie but with product placement) but it still shouldn't have been made. I just cringe at the actors that lowered themselves to the voice roles, I mean Charlie Sheen sure but any of the others? No. They must have been just plain strapped for cash to have their names put anywhere near this animated abomination.

I picked up this movie, thinking it would be fun and the cover of the DVD featured friendly and familiar faces like Charlie Tuna and Twinkie the Kid. When I popped the movie in my DVD player, I was actually quite aback at just how awful this movie truly is, I was really disappointed honestly and I really wanted to like it. The animation is some of the worst I've ever seen (and in my lifetime, I've watched tons of animation) as all the characters would move and speak in a manner that was clumsy and ugly that it was actually very painful to watch. The film is mainly targeted towards children and features lots of sexual comments and advancements and Nazi iconography that it makes it pretty inappropriate for kids. The movie was only 91 minutes long, but it felt like it was dragging on for hours. Take this as a warning, don't be fooled by the neat and fun looking cover, this movie is bad.
