But the message that we need to both sleep with someone the day before we marry someone else followed up by being told we need to commit and hope for the best is ludicrous. The attempts at cutesy scenes, coupled with a truly awful Sandra Bullock performance, made for one tiring film. Visually kind of different, but once again, forced. Way too many shots that say all style, no substance. He shoulda married Sarah, not her! They had more and better chemistry he and Bridget will even have! Ben shoulda found out about Bridget's cheating and left her to be w/ Sarah! The script is horrendous, and there are so many unnecessary scenes or scenes that take too long to end. They make a lot of "marriage is awful" jokes (at least 10) and usually pair them with a sex joke. None of them are funny, and are basically just iterations of the same thing. Ben Affleck's acting is so, so bad and his character is dull. In real life, nobody would fall in love with that man, he has the personality of wood chips, and yet somehow he got 2 women to be in love with him. Him and Sarah (Sandra's character) have zero chemistry, but at least Sandra's acting is good. Speaking of her character, if you love a manic pixie dream girl, then she's the one for you.
