Still best buds, the two stick together when Copper gets a chance to show off his vocal chords in a hound dog chorus. But will their different paths drive them apart? The animated comedy comes alive with voice-work by Patrick Swayze, Reba McEntire, and Jeff Foxworthy, as well as country music by Lucas Grabeel and Trisha Yearwood. [More]

  • Get ready to go a little bit country with Disney's all-new motion picture THE FOX AND THE HOUND 2. The music of today's hottest stars is center stage in this classic tale of friendship and loyalty. Tod and Copper still go together like an itch and a scratch, but when Copper gets a shot at the big time with a nutty group of hound dog howlers, their purebred friendship is put to the test. Experience an irresistible adventure featuring the stellar voice talent of Reba McEntire, Patrick Swayze, and Jeff Foxworthy and bursting with original music by Trisha Yearwood, Lucas Grabeel, and many more. THE FOX AND THE HOUND 2 combines music and comedy in perfect harmony.

The Fox and the Hound 2 is never going to live down as a classic, but it isn't terrible. It falls somewhere in the middle of the Disney DVD sequel spectrum.

Ainda que tecnicamente bem realizada e beneficiada pelo charme dos dois personagens-título, esta é uma continuação desnecessária que abandona as mensagens do original e investe numa historinha boba que renda ao estúdio um dinheiro fácil.

Like most sequels, it's a pale imitation of the original.
