A fresh batch of teenage camp counselors return to the ill-fated Camp Crystal Lake five years after its most recent atrocities. Since the apparent perpetrator of those crimes was decapitated by the only survivor, the plucky teens ignorantly go about the business of reviving the camp, unaware that they are being stalked by an unseen figure who lives in the woods, waiting for the right opportunity to take bloody revenge. Reviews for Friday the 13th - Part 2
[Blu Ray DVD Review]If you're looking to complete your Jason collection in HD, then this is without question the version of this film to get.
The oddball ending (be sure to watch the disc's accompanying featurettes) begs for a sequel, which, unfortunately, we get. Again and again. (Blu-ray Edition)
A slasher that takes its time with most of the kills, has some good frights, a new digital cut and provides a host of cool, new special features. What's not to like?
Friday the 13th Part 2 is more existential than mumblecore art house cinema, paring life down to the basics: f****g and death.
Who needs a brain-especially if you're in a wheelchair-if you have a functioning penis?
