While 50 Cent’s real-life story is undeniably compelling, his transition to the big screen is rocky at best; he struggles to deliver a decent performance, often coming across as wooden amidst a super derivative "hustler-to-hero" plot we've seen done better elsewhere. The music is pretty cool I guess, but it isn't enough to save a movie that feels more like a shallow branding exercise than a gritty cinematic masterpiece. See more Aye G T @MovieGoat Dec 29 Goat!!
