After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become "ghostbusters" to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. Ivan Reitman’s enjoyably silly (and occasionally genuinely scary) supernatural blockbuster about a team of amateurish ectoplasmic exorcists rescuing New York from a plague of ghouls was the most expensive comedy of its time.

Ghostbusters is primarily a showcase for Murray, who slinks through the movie muttering his lines in his usual cheeky fashion and getting off an occasionally hilarious crack that proves he's thoroughly enjoying himself.

Ghostbusters was once again an amazing tale of four brave men who battle ghosts in New York City. Nothing is more mesmerizing than how good overcomes evil and wins the day. Sigourney Weaver is at her tantalizing best, and Rick Moranis lends a comic flair. I highly recommend this movie for all ages.
