  • Grapes of Death is one of cult director Jean Rollin's most explicitly violent and gory films and is released here fully uncut in all its blood-drenched glory. Its story centers on a young woman who finds herself stranded in a remote village where a dangerous pesticide has contaminated the surrounding vineyards, transforming the locals into crazed zombies intent on slaughtering anyone who gets in their way.

    If you appreciate Rollin's gothic, sexually provocative films, you should love this, his most suspenseful and accessible production ever.
