It's not a picture for cynics, requiring some relaxation while Softley explores old tech and cartoon personalities, but it's a vibrant feature that's superbly executed, making for an entertaining sit for those willing to go along with it.

After having finished high school in the IT program, this movie was a love letter to the tech of its time. The understanding and execution of what most people would have found alien back in the day is so well done and makes for such an entertaining watch.

Set in some ultrahip New York of thefuture but geared towards 90s computer nerds. 20-year-old Angelina Jolie and Fisher Stevens (obviously enjoying his tole as a computer master) stand out, as well as Jonny Lee Miller sporting a believable American accent. However, flashy visuals and trite cyberspeak can't save this one.
