Haunted 3D Reviews

"When we started on preproduction we heard that everyone and their uncle was making a 3D film here in India and yet as I write this blog we are the only ones who have gone out and made the film while the others are still planning it. Sounds boastful? Well, if you have survived a 3D film production you will know that it is surely a matter of being boastful."
So when you hear that everyone and their uncle is making a 3D film, you immediately jump in the race with an age-old, done to death script merely to beat others? Surely, the production process must have been a challenging job, but is that a fair reason in the neglecting the significance of script? The actors (Twinkle and Mimoh!!!) deserve full credit here for making the movie at least passable. Oh, of course, besides the special effects.

First of all if you've seen earlier Vikram Bhatt's flicks and you liked it, you will like it as well. The story remains almost on the same theme as earlier but this times it come with the 3d effect. The movie visually is very appealing with all the make ups and effects. It lacks on the verge on sound effects. The music of the movie is good and blends with the proceeding movie. Being the first stereoscopic horror movie it achieves and manages to thrill the audience. It has some scary moments and the 3d effect enhances them on a vast scale. The romantic side is well stuffed in. The 3d effects are commendable. Overall I would recommend at least one watch for the great effort. If you love the horror genre you would like it.

Set in the misty mountains of Koti, Haunted 3D revolves around the sprawling Glen Manor, a mansion with a secret past and a haunted present. The protagonist, Rehan, visits Glen Manor to complete its sale, which his father had initiated. But he realizes that certain mysterious occurrences in the manor may jeopardize the sale. However when he investigates these inexplicable happenings he discovers a secret---and falls in love with it! What he does not bargain for is that the secret brings him face to face with the biggest challenge of his life.....How can he save her when she is already dead?
so here it is another Vikram Bhatt horror movie, he needs to stop man, enough. his movies are all same in terms of story, just one or two changes in them doesn't make them good. his first horror movie Raaz 1 was original and done in a good way with good music and romance and good scare and horror no overly done things but after that every movie has same thing let me recall you those points.
1. Raaz 1 had a girl ghost who was the past of the lead girls husband and now she is making him suffer and the lead girl has to save her husband and kill the ghost.
2. 1920 had a boy ghost who was haunting a girl who was his past in some way and the boy (husband) has to save her and kill the ghost.
3. Shaapit had a girl ghost (a curse) who is spooking the girl so now the guy has to save his girlfriend and break the curse.
4. Haunted 3D has a guy who has to kill a guy ghost and save the girl who he doesn't know but this time the girl is also a ghost and a new twist is that he time travels and save her.
movie has pretty overdone scary scenes which i didn't liked much. i gave an extra star to only because it was entertaining and really different from his past attempts and the movie was actually enjoyable and thrilling too. ending was really good after the time travel thing. Music is average but two songs are just so good, Jaaniya and Tunhe ho mera pyaar.
3D was of no use in it. screenplay was average and could have been better. good story and plot. direction was okay. acting was below average starring Tia Bajpai, Mimoh Chakraborty, Achint Kaur and Arif Zakaria. go see it if you wanna be entertained but movie is just AVERAGE. but somehow thrilling with a good plot and a one time watch better than his last two attempts.

So there is this damsel in distress ghost being tortured by an evil ghost for the past 80 years,
Our hero shows up at the havali for a vocation. The evil one first spooks him n then takes a swing at our hero‚(TM)s head with an axe(in 3D)‚¶ first you say ok I have never believed in ghosts but this seems to be a good time to and secondly you get the fuck out of there, but whats the fun in that. So he stays back to save the damsel in distress ghost even thou he still doesn‚(TM)t believe in ghosts, but how can he help her, he is alive and they are ghosts and the murder took place 80 years back, here in comes the sadhu, who takes a big drag from his chillum and blows it on the heroes face, Our hero intoxicated by the second hand smoke falls unconscious and well wakes up in 1939. This is just the first 20 minutes and it only get better.

First half is kinda boring but second half is somewhat interesting. Many concepts stolen from other movies and bad acting at many spots.
Expect few scares.
Overall a very enjoyable popcorn flick.
