Claudio C @Claudio666 1d The Truth (12,383 – 10 Apr 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) After ten tears living in Canada, Audrey returns to her seacoast hometown in France to visit her estranged mother, Martine and her father Michel. Audrey keeps secret that she is two-month pregnant and moves to the nearby house of her grandfather Gilles that is closed since he died since she needs to work. Audrey finds a hidden diary from her grandmother Louise, who left Gilles and her children Martine and Gérard. Throughout the days, she learns the truth about Louise’s disappearance. "Mères et filles", a.k.a. "Hidden Diary" (2009), is a dramatic French film about motherhood and family secrets, with the discovery of the truth about the fate of her grandmother Louise, a woman ahead of time. The performances are top-notch and the screenplay is excellent. My vote is eight.
