That none of it makes any sense is not a problem, but the failure to raise the temperature despite endless shootouts, punch-ups, car chases et al is a fatal flaw.

I've read other reviews and I seriously don't understand all the hate. Hitman original story for a video game that's just repetitive killing isn't half bad. Rupert is the best part of this movie and he brings a very different air to Olyphant did to the character. I wouldn't call this a reboot at all and I think that's where people are expecting too much. The actions scenes are methodical, much like the video game itself. Worth a watch.
