A little too much skiing in this movie for me, and the ending is horribly cheesy, but there are some good jokes thrown in, so it's was enjoyable some of the time.

Hot Dog the Movie is your 80s teen comedy movie to the T. It has that comedic style, the cheesy competition, and the sex thrown in. This movie is an over the top version of Better off Dead and was just what I wanted it to be.

Love this film, don't know why they don't make them like this anymore. Skin, fun and partying. Lots of wild fun, and a pretty good 80's style soundtrack.

"Sunny side, up, Sunny side down, Sunny side all the way around."
"You can ski on the right side. You can ski on the left side, but you cannot ski on the middle"
reply to that,
"You can kiss my a$$. Not on the right side. Not on the left side, but right in the middle"
Funny lines and good skiing
Chinese downhill, too

Very funny low ball comedy with elements of good filmaking that show off expert skiing. Cast members play their parts with screw ball seriousness.

So bad, it's good. What movie today would allow the making of the "Leg Spreader" drink? This and "Roadhouse" would make a great double feature.

This movie set the standard for naughty/funny behavior on ski slopes and while on vacation. David Naughton (of American Werewolf in London) proves to be a great comedy presence in his educating the newby skier Harkin Banks in Squaw Valley during a skiing competition.

The entire storyline is based around an up and coming skier, the shenanigens they get into including great parties as well as the problematic scoring system whereby europeans are given favor due to their economic influence.

In the end, justice prevails via the "Chinese Downhill", a no-holds-barred race to the bottom of the hill. A must-see in my book. Enjoy.

If for no other reason David Naughton shows that a cheesy 70's song ( Makin It) and being a Dr. Pepper commercial guy, can lead to Hollywood success.

Fresh off of his American Werewolf in London role, Mr. Naughton made this 80's sex teen comedy. The highlights would include; the great mountain snowcaps of the Colorado Rockys, the equally majestic peaks of Shannon Tweed and Tracy Smith, and a killer 80's downhill skiing montage while Mitch Ryders version of Prince's "When You Were Mine" played to 80's glory. Unfortunately Mr. Ryders version went unnoticed as it was deemed to Blues to be cool during this time.

Amazing...Great acting with an even greater storyline makes this movie one of the best of all time. I quivered in delight at the funny jokes, and sultery sex scenes. My only regret is that the movie couldnt last forever. A+++++
