For Rod Kimball (Andy Samberg), performing stunts is a way of life, even though he is rather accident-prone. Poor Rod cannot even get any respect from his stepfather, Frank (Ian McShane), who beats him up in weekly sparring matches. When Frank falls ill, Rod devises his most outrageous stunt yet to raise money for Frank's operation -- and then Rod will kick Frank's butt.

This is one of the stupidest and dumbmest movie that I have seen, but shit I guess that's kind of the point of this movie, Samberg is one of the funny guy and this role suit him pretty well, Isla Fisher is so beautiful to see on screen, the movie deliever comedy that I was laughing out loud most of the time, the stupidity that the movie deliver was great, I really enjoyed the movie even though some people didn't like it, One good solid comedy. I give " Hot Rod " a C-.
