Based on the memoirs of Earp's second wife, Josephine Marcus, the film looks at the legendary sheriff from the perspective of his personal life. Josephine was born in San Francisco and traveled east into the rough country hoping to succeed as a singer. There, she met Earp and fell in love with him. As with many tales about the Old West, legend sometimes take precedence over cold fact, but it is the essence of Earp and his relationships that is the film's focus. Marie Osmond and Bruce Boxleitner star as the famous Western couple. [More]
