Still, if the film is ultimately disappointing it is in part because it begins so well, and there is a lot to enjoy before the over-the-top final act. Go to Full Review

I like Downey Jr, usually, with his dark wounded eyes, but here his performance veers between going though the motions and a look which seems to say, "Hey, what film am I doing again?" Go to Full Review

Bokamoso K @urfuturebright_ 2h Sensational, lowkey wish Yinsen didn’t die and pepper lowkey annoyed me a little but I still love her. #peoperony See more Cristian L @Furanh 1d Putting personal attachment aside, this is still a very solid film with plenty of sharp dialogue, an engaging pace, and a lot of heart (mechanical, in this case). If there’s a flaw, it might be that there are relatively few action sequences, and this version of Iron Man doesn’t appear all that often. He also almost never seems to help civilians, which makes me question what kind of hero he actually sees himself as. (i mean, chasing terrorists is fine, but...) Jon Favreau’s direction is competent and functional, but not especially distinctive. The biggest downside, in my opinion, is the original score, which often feels overly intrusive in certain scenes, even if it has since become iconic. See more Reed G @RT29948466 3d Fun movie, It was my first MCU Film so I recommend if you are just starting to watch Marvel or just want a high-octane action movie! See more cooperflagg .. @maralissa Jun 6 i love this movie! great soundtrack, the part where the guy with glasses who gets killed sticks his hand in tonys chest and puts the heart in there is kinda gross could've done without that. See more TK Y. @RT76575259 May 28 Amazing first movie to the mcu. Incredible characters and acting. The movie started off mid and felt a little uneasy. The movie started to really take off when Stark begins construction of his first suit. I loved the rest of the movie. The main villain was pretty awesome and Stark's growing relationship with Ms. Pots was really enjoyable to watch. The way Tony Stark's character developed throughout the movie is incredibly going from a bad person doing worldly things to building good character traits and relalizing the importance of life. Loved that Yinsen guy, he was a true friend to Tony and really helped lead him in the right direction. The fight scene at the end could have went better; however the very end of the movie was Iconic and memorable. Definitely a top superhero Marvel movie. See more Prasad K @Prasadk226 May 27 Iron Man was a complete entertainment package for me. The movie perfectly balanced action, humor, and technology in a very interesting way. Robert Downey Jr. completely owned the role with his confidence and stylish personality. I especially enjoyed the scenes where Tony Stark builds and tests the Iron Man suit. The visual effects were amazing for that time, and the movie never felt boring. It is a movie that can still be enjoyed again and again. See more Read all reviews
