Wayne K @RT88290232 Jun 1 An epic courtroom drama with one of the most incredible 20th century casts ever assembled, Judgement At Nuremberg makes great use of its extensive runtime and heavy subject matter, posing interesting questions about collective responsibility and moral accountability. What’s so fascinating is that the verdict is clearly a foregone conclusion, but the story has you swaying back and forth on who’s right about what, and both sides have merit. The acting is very 1960s, with lots of grandiose speeches yelled in front of stunned extras, and a feeling of repetition starts to creep in towards the end. But for whatever flaws it might have, the film itself is a powerful, engrossing window into the aftermath of one of humanities darkest chapters, and an experience that makes 3 hours simply fly by. I highly recommend that you see this film. 👍😊 See more Kyle M @RT77296778 Mar 2 There’s been a discourse via literature that talks of grief, guilt and forgiveness surrounding the aftermath long after the Holocaust, and this film examines those conversational roots so well whilst giving us a disclosing sense of judicial justice. This is a fictional dramatization of the trials with representative conduits that enabled a character study upheld by brilliant performances from such ensemble with all the engaging traits of a courtroom drama with balanced logos. Plus, its underlying power that weaves through the taut screenplay eventually surfaces with all of its haunts that triggered the morally tested testimonies. (A-) See more Luca D. @JoeCamel7 Feb 20 Nothing is wrong with this movie other than a lack of a significant soundtrack, and a lack of a decent cinematographer. The camera zoom-ins on people's faces was so unnecessary and made this serious movie feel almost goofy. Other than that the acting is world class and the plot is very deep and introspective.
