Upon arriving at the castle, the soldiers discover that the keep is a prison that was built to hold in a vampiric demon. The demon is released and goes on a rampage, slaughtering everyone in sight. Scott Glenn plays the mysterious Glaeken, the only man who can stop the monster. He travels from Greece to Romania to confront the demon in a battle he knows he may very well lose. THE KEEP is an eerie film that takes its job to frighten seriously. Michael Mann's direction gives the movie a dreamlike atmosphere, making it a thoroughly chilling tale. Though underrated upon its release, THE KEEP has become a cult classic. [More]
