In this film noir drama, Bill Saunders (Burt Lancaster) is a former Prisoner of War living in England whose experiences have left him emotionally unstable and prone to violence. The soap opera romance felt as phony as the London dock scenes.
Excellent Film Noir in the English Fog Joan fontaine is so beautiful & bewichting and Burt Lancaster is Great as The Beast of Pray created by Society and it's refreshing to see the Woman as the Healing Angel instead of the Troublebringing Femme Fatale Great Soundtrack
