This was quite bad! For starters KITT isn't the same car and second there is very little story. The James Doohan scene is uncomfortable viewing.

I really dug the theme song and thats about where the movie peaks. The acting was fine and all but the story was a little weak. It took way to long to get the new KITT car off the ground and while I thought the design was cool it never really felt like KITT.

I saw this on TV one night. I don't really consider straight-to-TV movies as movies. All TV movies are are just long TV shows. The first thing that turned me off was that Kitt wasn't Kitt. The cool, black super car was destroyed. His computer brain was saved but installed into a souped up red Chevy Camaro. A Camaro???? Who do they think Kitt is? Smokey and the Bandit?????. And there's David Hasselhoff. The Hoff. A word synonymous with lameness. No real plot and since most of the original cast of Knight Rider were dead or not brought back for this mess. It just died a slow death on screen.

If they bring it back next year I think I'll watch. Hopefully David Hasselhoff returns even if only as a in a cameo.

An awesome 1991 movie, a great "Knight Rider" reunion. David Hasselhof back as Michael Knight and the late Edward Mulhare as Devon Miles and William Daniels as the voice of KITT. The story takes place in the year 2000 in Seattle where guns are banned and criminals are put in cryostasis. A group of rogue cops are selling illegal guns on the market. Love the new car in this move, the Knight 4000, A great movie for Knight Rider fans like me to watch.
