Reviews for Lady and the Tramp
50 years after its original release, this story of canine lives still oozes charm.
You know the story: Boy meets girl. Boy loses girl. Boy does something incredibly heroic to win girl's heart. Boy and girl stay together and raise a litter of puppies.
Walt Doggy Dogg's canine love story came to the movie screens (and now your home theater) fixed, although you'll probably still get heartworm.
What's really interesting about it is their willingness to tackle hard truths.
Lady and the Tramp is one of Disney's happiest, cuddliest, most-romantic concoctions. The new, two-disc Platinum Edition does up the movie proud.
