Dan O'Grady (Shay Duffin) steals 100 gold coins from a leprechaun (Warwick Davis) while on vacation in Ireland. The leprechaun follows him home, but Dan locks the murderous midget in a crate, held at bay by a four-leaf clover. Ten years later, J.D. Redding (John Sanderford) and his daughter, Tory (Jennifer Aniston), rent O'Grady's property for the summer. When their new neighbors accidentally release the leprechaun, he goes on a murderous rampage to reclaim his gold.

The basic problem with 'Leprechaun' is that it just isn't scary, not even a little bit, not for the tiniest second, and that's the result of a basic failure at the conception stage.

It was a decent funny horror movie. the pogo kill was very cool and Jennifer Aniston first roll was cool.But I never really wanted to watch anything about leprechauns it’s just not my jam.

On a budget of $900,000 dollars grossing $9.2 million dollars at the box office,proven that low budget horror comedies sell well no major studio had faith on a killer Leprechaun. Trimark Pictures took a chance took a risk made not back it's budget. Now had been box office bomb 8 films later being Irish I'm bot offend in fact the direct opposite. Those who say if you're Irish you should be offended by a killer Leprechaun. Um no we shouldn't offended by these movies love how some believe they speak for rest of us it's not racist to absolutely no one Irish is nationality and not a race.

Synopsis
