When a visit to the family doctor suddenly turns his life upside down, Jason struggles with many questions: "What do you do if you only have a few months to live?" "Who do I tell?" "Have I made a difference?" Jason's grandfather, William (Dick Arnold) who hasn't seen his grandson in eight years, wants to get to know Jason and hopefully make things right with his estranged son Peter (Kevin Huber).
