Movie Info

Peter Masterson's Lost Junction stars Billy Burke as Jimmy McGee, a hitchhiker who becomes involved with Missy Lofton (Neve Campbell) after she offers him a ride. He discovers that her husband's dead body is also along for the ride in the trunk. Jimmy has fallen for Missy and helps her get rid of any trace of the body. The film goes from erotic thriller to mega-happy comedy without really justifying the transition.

Unless you're a die hard fan of one or more of these actors, there's not much in Lost Junction worth getting too excited about.

Audience Reviews for Lost Junction

Lost Junction was a little slow for me. I also thought it was a mistake for the film-makers to deviate away from Missy's storyline and over to that whole Jimmy-Matt one. At the point where Neve went on her fake guilt-trip-prison thing, that's when I just wanted it to hurry up and end. And the real story behind Doc's death didn't seem interesting enough to warrent all the secrecy and mystery that we had to endure the entire time. But I think they chose a good place to film - the small town setting worked for the story. And on the whole, Neve was pretty good too.

What a slow moving film. The pace did not pick up until 3/4ths through the film. Well cast. Neve Campbell does nicely in an offbeat role. Sometimes the slow pacing works in favor of the film, it is set in the south and it helps the flavor of the film, but still, too often slow.
