In this romantic gem, beautiful and youthful Elizabeth Taylor shows her legs as a dance instructor who travels to New York City for a dance convention and, without her mother as chaperone for the first time, finds herself swept up by roguish theatrical agent Jud (Larry Parks), who takes her to baseball games and shows but drops her as soon as the possibility of marriage crops up. Taylor and her father plot to get Jud back, but will she be able to hide her love for him while he comes to her senses about her? Taylor was 20 when this movie was released, and she simply shines.
